Begun in 1990, The Campus Computing Project is
the largest continuing study ofthe role of information technology
in American higher education. The projects national studies
draw on qualitative and quantitative data to help inform faculty,
campus officials, policy-makers and others interested
in a wide array of information technology issues that affect
U. S. colleges and universities.

Interstate Commission for Higher Education in 1989, WCET

the globe, but most are in the U.S. Collectively, they represent
