Online Management Principles & Practices Programs
HUCE is pleased to offer two groups of management courses: one group of courses present general principles of management for new managers or prospective menagers; the other group addresses management practices found to be effective in specific organizational contexts.

Principles | Practices

Red checkManagement Principles ... self-paced/asynchronous

This online certificate program provides students with a firm grasp of the fundamental principles of modern management, i.e., the basic concepts, processes, and best practices that every prospective manager must understand in order to ascend the ladder of leadership in business, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Each of the 26 courses in this program takes approximately three to six hours to complete. While enrolled, students can pose course-related questions to a subject matter expert and receive answers within 24 hours.

This program is ideally suited for newly appointed managers and for employees seeking opportunities for promotions as managers. Experienced managers who have become 'stuck' can use these courses to re-energize their careers by refreshing their grasp of the fundamentals. Human resource personnel and paraprofessionals seeking to broaden the scope of their responsibilities will find that this program provides them with a highly cost-effective path to success.
